About the Project

Why this community exists — and what we’re building together.

“When you're a competitive runner in training you are constantly in a process of ascending. It's a simple idea, but the more I thought about it, the more profound it became to me.

It's not something most human beings would give a moment of consideration to, that it is actually possible to be living for years in a state of constant betterment.”

— John L. Parker Jr., Again to Carthage

Run & Resist Track Club is based on this simple, foundational idea: that we can be better versions of ourselves today than we were yesterday, and better still tomorrow. We are a digital track club for runners & supporters who believe this, seeking to build community, momentum, and change through shared miles. We run because it makes us better — more focused, more present, more connected.

The club is open to anyone who believes movement and training have meaning. Whether you’re training for a marathon, running your first mile, or cheering from the sidelines, you’re part of something built on effort, resilience, and the belief that progress — personal or collective — is worth the work.

Our platform turns that energy outward. Some members link their miles to active causes and campaigns, channeling the impact of their training toward good. Others simply run in solidarity, adding their effort to the shared record. Every mile matters.
